Let’s make your life in Portugal smoother, easier, and stress-free.
Because you didn’t move here to worry — you moved here to live.

I’m currently based in São Domingos de Rana, Cascais, and my main working areas are Oeiras, Cascais, and Sintra.
But if you’re a little further away, feel free to give me a call, I’m sure we can find a way to make it work!

about me
I’m a local from Parede, Cascais, but I lived in the Algarve for 12 years where most of my closest friends and clients were expats from the UK, Italy, Belgium, Germany, and more. My boyfriend and I were often the only Portuguese in the group, and I absolutely loved the mix of cultures, stories, and experiences we shared.
Later on, I moved to Brazil and had the full-on expat experience myself. Even though we share the same language, I quickly realized how challenging it can be to adapt to a new country without a local support network.
Since I returned to Portugal, I have managed 7 short-term rentals (up until March this year), and hosted hundreds of guests, some here for holidays, others looking to relocate. Over time, I naturally started helping them beyond just accommodation, as I did in the Algarve with my friends and clients.
That’s when I realized there’s a real need for someone local who simply gets it. So I created Day2Day Support, a small initiative to help expats, with everyday tasks and adapting to life in Portugal.
My Journey
At 35, I was a marketing executive in a multinational company, holding a solid position. Financially, things were stable, but time for truly living was scarce. Eventually, dissatisfaction grew, and I knew I needed a change.
So, I quit my job and moved to western Algarve in search of a different way of life. My family and friends thought I was crazy, but my mind was made up. I didn’t want to work for a company anymore, I wanted to create my own path. But in 2004, opportunities were little, especially in a small town.
I applyed for insurance agent, working from home. Within a year, I built a strong client portfolio, leading the company to open a branch office for me. For nearly a decade, I thrived in the insurance business, life was good, and income was steady. However, due to family reasons, I returned to my hometown, Cascais, and left the insurance business behind.
In 2015, I moved to Brazil to be close to my father, who was living there. I started collaborating with a small beach hotel and endep up becoming a partner in a local pizzaria. But by 2018, for security and family reasons, I had to return to Portugal, starting from scratch once again.
Determined to find a new direction, an idea resurfaced: why not help foreigners with their daily needs in Portugal? During my time running the insurance office in Algarve, most of my friends and clients were expats. They often sought my help with things beyond insurance like setting up internet, dealing with Segurança Social, handling Finanças, and more. I gladly assisted them, realizing how valuable this service was.
However, just as I was preparing to start this project, a friend invited me to manage her newly finished short-term rental units. Always up for a challenge, I accepted the offer and postponed my business idea.
From early 2018 to March 2025, I managed seven short-term rental properties, becoming a Superhost on Airbnb and earning multiple Booking Travel Awards.
Yet, throughout these years, my original idea never left me. Helping foreigners navigate their daily lives in Portugal, especially in Cascais, my hometown and a top destination for expats, was something I truly believed in.
So, once again, I decided it was time to change and created Day2Day Support.
